What is Marketplace Payment Solution?

Pay N Kolay Marketplace Payment Solution offers a payment infrastructure where you can work with sub-sellers using different payment profiles and commission rates.

When an end user makes a card payment from the marketplace, the money goes to the marketplace’s account at Pay N Kolay. Pay N Kolay takes its commission and separates the commissions that the marketplace will receive from sub-sellers, making payments to sellers and the marketplace separately.

Core Components

1. Marketplace

With the Marketplace Payment Solution, as a marketplace, you can work with your sellers at different commission rates, assign payment profiles to your sellers, and manage information such as commission rates, transaction fees, and payment days.

Additionally, you can make payments to your sellers and access financial reports with the marketplace payment solution.

2. Seller

Works with the payment profile agreed upon with the marketplace. After the sales transaction, the commission fee and any transaction fees and other charges are deducted according to the designated payment profile, and the earnings are transferred to the seller’s account on the payment day.

3. Payment

When an end user makes a card payment from the marketplace, the payment transaction is carried out through Pay N Kolay’s payment infrastructure.

After payment, commission rates, transaction fees, and other charges are calculated according to the payment profiles assigned by the marketplace to the seller, and the money is transferred to the relevant accounts. Money transfers are completed on the payment day.

4. Payment Profile

These are the payment profiles that the marketplace will apply to its sellers. The marketplace can work with sellers using different payment profiles.

Who Can Use It?

Marketplace Payment Solution is designed for marketplaces.

Your sub-sellers can be one of the following types:

Individual (Individual sellers)
Sole Proprietorship (Single-person companies)
Corporation (Limited, Joint-stock companies)

Workflow

Marketplace integration works with the following steps:

Token Retrieval - Obtain a token via the authenticate service to make requests to the services
Payment Profile Creation - Define different commission and payment conditions for sellers
Seller Creation - Add sub-sellers to the system and assign payment profiles
Payment Transactions - Receive payment from the end user, calculate commissions
Reporting - Retrieve transaction and seller-based reports
Transfer Transactions - Payments are automatically made on the specified valor days

Withholding Tax Application

Marketplace customers must calculate the withholding tax amount on the net sales amount excluding all VAT and taxes and report it in the withholdingTax field in the relevant services.

Withholding Tax Calculation Example

Product Price: 100 TL
Product Price Excluding VAT and Taxes: 80 TL
Withholding Tax: 80 TL × 0.01 = 0.8 TL

Transfer Transactions

Money transfers are the responsibility of Pay N Kolay.

After each sale, the relevant amount is transferred to the seller’s account after the number of days specified in the valorDateCount defined in the seller’s profile.
